Located in just off Cedar Bluff in the heart of West Knoxville, Events at Sherlake is just one of the several local inflatable indoor play plazas - featuring slides, rock climbs, obstacle courses and bounce houses - that have been showing up all over town lately. 

Having been to Events at Sherlake - and a couple of their competitors - several times during “open play” we decided to have Daughter’s 3rd birthday party there.  Let me go ahead and tell you… it could not have gone better!

All the kids had a blast during the 1.5 hour playtime.  No doubt they would have had fun at most of the other inflatable gyms, but as parents that’s not all we’re looking for. 

The price is right on par with the others but I’d be surprised to learn that any of the others could top Events at Sherlake’s quality party-throwing expertise.  Not only was the owner on hand to direct her young happy and helpful staff but she was also involved in making sure our experience was nothing less than perfect.  The staff does supervision during the playtime and also handles all the party room decorations.  Events provides party supplies, but we had also brought some of our own, more elaborate, decorations which the staff had found and managed to set everything up better than we could have ourselves. 

 We were impressed with every aspect of the 2 hour party, including the staff serving the pizza, drinks and cake.  It reminded me of being at an all-inclusive resort while we were being waited on hand and foot.

Whether you’re looking for a place to kill a few hours and let the kids get out some energy or you want a weather-proof place to have an awesome 3 - 7 year old’s birthday party, Events at Sherlake should definitely make the short list.

Give them a shot, we know you’ll love it as much as we did.
