Taxpayers Pay LESS in Tennessee

Good news for us on taxes. Tennessee ranked as the 3rd most “tax friendly” state on an income tax survey by CNNMoney.
Tennessee residents pay some of the lowest state taxes because they only owe income tax on dividends and interest.
Tennessee’s total tax burden figures at 8.5 percent of income. Only Alaska and New Hampshire ranked better, the report said.
